That’s right - there’s nothing more the Muscly Jerk enjoys more away from the bedroom than a large succulent bucket of KFC or a juicy Big Mac. Think I’m crazy and I’m going to put on a few lbs of fat? Then this post is for you, numb nuts.
The trouble with a lot of guys who start weight training is they get absorbed in to it and it begins to take over their life completely - usually this happens in instances were they never had much of a so-called ‘life’ to begin with and it’s tragic to witness. If you bought my program and have done this, I’m going to kick your @ss.
If you find yourself being so anal about your diet that you can’t enjoy a greasy takeout once in a while you need to check yourself and remember the reason you started training to begin with - for the chicks and a better quality of life, so why are you telling your buddies you can’t grab a takeout or enjoy a meal with them in a restaurant over a beer ‘cos it will mess up your macro-nutrient breakdown for the day? Get real..
I eat takeout at least twice per week and it doesn’t effect my training at all - fats are good too as they contribute to growth hormone production. Who cares if you ate a little over your calorie level for the day? Only eat half of another meal and you’re done.
Being too anal about weight training is the most detrimental thing you can do for your social life. It’s a dark and lonely road with the only friends you’ll have left are those you made on bodybuilding forums discussing how many calories you think one burns while taking a dump.
