Body Building Apparel-What Is Hip
Published by The Muscly Jerk April 27th, 2007 in Clothes and Dressing. Tags: No Tags.If you are new to the whole body building scene then you might want to know what to wear to the gym. I mean come on you would not want to show up over or under dressed would you? I know that I sure would not. So is there actually apparel for body building? Yes there is, just like any other event in our lives there is a dress code for body building. So just what should you wear?
Well in this article I will tell you what the hip fresh thing to wear when it comes to body building apparel.
Did you know that you could be wearing the wrong thing to the gym and your fellow body builders may know a secret that you do not? Well if you are not comfortable then this is your first mistake. People do not realize the utter importance of your clothing when it comes to body building there is a connection between the way your body reacts to the exercise and the clothing you are wearing.
“The touch the feel of cotton, the fabric of our lives” we have all heard this commercial on T.V. Well it should be the touch the feel of cotton the fabric of a body builder’s life. It should be this because body builder’s wear cotton. Why cotton you may be saying to yourself? Why not those spandex or latex body suits that I just bought. Well I will tell you why because you sweat when you lift weights and exercise, and although your skin might match your shinny outfit your sweat will allow your body to be distracted by the heat and the discomfort of feeling wet. I know this is gross but it is true cotton absorbs moisture and allows your body to breathe thus making exercise and body building a breeze.
You may see body builders in body building competitions wearing those shinny spandex or latex outfits that show off every muscle, but I guarantee you that they do not actually work out in those clothes. So do not show up at the gym wearing your coolest body building outfit. You will not be able to move well, and you will not be comfortable, but most importantly you will not be able to work out efficiently and in body building every work out counts. So save your special spandex for a special occasion and choose cotton for your body building apparel.
